So who is Kim?

Since this is a personal bookblog, I thought it would be appropriate to tell a little something about myself. My aim for this blog is mainly to talk about the books I read and what I liked or disliked about them, but once in a while I might post about other stuff that interests me. Feel free to follow me on social media and talk to me! 

I am currently 20 years old. I live in a small but very complicated country called Belgium, more specifically the northern part where we speak Dutch. Since I am very much interested in both English and Dutch literature, but I want to address a much wider audience, I decided to write my blog in English, also for books that I read in Dutch. I am studying to become a teacher in Dutch and English for kids from 11/12 to 15/16. I've always been interested in languages and literature and recently I decided I wanted to share my passion and knowledge with youngsters. I'll let you know how that goes! Beside reading I also love lying in bed till noon and watching tv series as if my life depens on it.

Because I read both English and Dutch books and I didn't want to exclude Dutch literature from this blog, I decided I will post about both, but always in English. I usually only read books in Dutch if they are originally written in this language. For books outside of the Dutch-speaking area, I always try to find an English translation to read.
